ABOUT ME

I was 19 when I realised, for a long time, I had spent a lot of my life in my mind. My first yoga class had a profound effect on me as, possibly, for the first time I consciously became aware of what my body and my mind were doing. Since then I have continued to develop this awareness, so that I can share it with others. All my classes are deep rooted in mindfulness and offers a moment from our busy lives to SLOW DOWN, and with practice, become more present with our experience.  

WEEKLY and MONTHLY CLASSES

GENTLE YOGA 

A gentle way to stretch and strengthen the body in a safe way. We will use props and chairs if needed. Each session will include mindful breathing meditation to calm and quieten the mind. Enhanced with incense and gentle massage. Perfect for: beginners, people living with illness or injury or preferring a gentle pace of practice.

FLOW YOGA

A holistic class of mindful, fluid movement with the breath, to strengthen and create space in the body. Enriched with aromatherapy oil, incense and massage and meditation; this is a moment in the week for yourself. 

Tuesdays: 6.00 - 7.00pm (All levels)

PARENT and CHILD SESSION 

Sometimes children, for various reasons, struggle with 'big emotions', at any time of their lives. The challenges of being a small person in a big world can be tough to handle and the way they express this can be difficult for parents/carers too. This session is for you and your child to use yoga, breathing and massage to calm their nervous system. Using techniques from my Special Yoga training and 13 years working with young people in education, your child will learn a little about their brain and their emotions, but most importantly it's a moment in time to bond with your child. It's a beautifully nurturing and healing session for everyone.

PRIVATE SESSION

A private session allows us more time to listen and observe your body and tailor the session to support with deepening your practice, or providing you with the confidence to go into a group class. A 1:1 session is delivered in your home and can be booked as a one off or as part of a series of classes. Either way we will work together to create a practice that works for you.

Claire is warm and professional and always gives different alternatives so you can practise at the level you’re comfortable with. I always leave her classes feeling energised but calm. She has an amazing ability to help you centre on the important things and she encourages everyone to put love and kindness at the epicentre of every thing. Everyone should have a Claire in their life! Plus she’s super bendy and strong so she rocks all the difficult poses
